On this tour, we\u2019ll explore Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia, the grand avenue that became the showcase of the city\u2019s rising bourgeoisie. Here, modernist architecture is not just beautiful \u2014 it tells stories of ambition, technology, rivalry, and artistic freedom.     • We will meet at Pla\u00e7a Catalunya, at the beginning of Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • I will introduce the layout of the city and the 19th-century Eixample expansion, which shaped modern Barcelona.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • As we walk along Passeig de Gr\u00e0cia, we\u2019ll admire and interpret its modernist architecture, exploring the highlights that make this avenue unique.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • We\u2019ll see Casa Lle\u00f3 i Morera, designed by the father of Modernism, Dom\u00e8nech i Montaner, who was also Gaud\u00ed\u2019s teacher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Next, we\u2019ll admire Casa Amatller, also known as the House of Chocolate, where we\u2019ll enjoy a coffee break.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • We\u2019ll continue to Casa Batll\u00f3, one of Antoni Gaud\u00ed\u2019s most famous masterpieces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Then, we\u2019ll see La Pedrera, Gaud\u00ed\u2019s last private project before dedicating himself entirely to Sagrada Fam\u00edlia.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • To finish the tour, we\u2019ll head to Sagrada Fam\u00edlia, which can be reached on foot, by taxi, or by metro, depending on your preference and timing. Here, we\u2019ll explore the monument, share its history, and analyze its fa\u00e7ades from the exterior \u2014 a perfect finale to your Modernist journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        • Other: Personal expenses. An optional one way metro ticket to get to Sagrada Familia (the fastest way) as the monument it’s not in the city centre. Entrance to Sagrada Familia is not included in the tour price, since it greatly varies depending on what you’d personally like to cover specifically, ranging from 26\u20ac up to 60\u20ac.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

          Note: For groups of fewer than 9 people, if you wish, it is possible to include entry to the Sagrada Fam\u00edlia at the end of the tour. The cost is \u20ac30 per person and must be requested in the notes section when booking, at least 15 days before the tour date. The guide will accompany the group to the entrance, but the explanation will take place from outside the temple.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
