Explore Barcelona’s modernist wonders and Gaudí’s genius in a journey through the city’s creative transformation!
Let’s step into the Barcelona of the late 19th century, a city transformed by the Industrial Revolution and bursting with creativity. As the old city walls were torn down, Barcelona expanded and reinvented itself, becoming the economic heart of the Iberian Peninsula — and the perfect playground for a bold new architectural style: Catalan Modernism.
On this tour, we’ll explore Passeig de Gràcia, the grand avenue that became the showcase of the city’s rising bourgeoisie. Here, modernist architecture is not just beautiful — it tells stories of ambition, technology, rivalry, and artistic freedom. Beyond taking photos, you’ll learn how to read the buildings and truly understand what makes this style so unique and why it could only have been born here.
The experience continues at La Sagrada Família, Gaudí’s most iconic masterpiece. We’ll uncover the history of the monument, explore the symbolism of its façades from the exterior, and understand Gaudí’s visionary approach to architecture and nature — the perfect way to conclude this modernist journey!.
More than a sightseeing tour, this experience offers a deeper perspective on Barcelona, helping us see the city not just as it is, but as it was imagined.
